Mature Applicants

The information in this section is for students who do not meet the academic requirements of their preferred program. If you meet the academic requirements for a program, you do not need to apply as a mature applicant.

What is a
mature applicant?

A mature applicant is someone who meets the following criteria:

  • has been out of highschool for at least 1 year.

If this describes your situation, you may apply to a program as a Mature Applicant.

What documents do I need to apply?

All mature applicants must provide the following documentation to support their application:

  • transcripts from all previous education
  • a resume and cover letter outlining skills, training, work and life experience that can demonstrate readiness for a college program.

The supporting documentation can be uploaded to the resume section and transcripts section of your Dashboard.

All requests for mature student consideration will be reviewed by the appropriate Program Manager.

Additional
considerations
