Post-Graduation Work Permits

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has new eligibility requirements that affect all students who apply for a study permit after November 1, 2024. As a student, it is your responsibility to understand and meet the full eligibility requirements.

In order to work in Canada after you graduate, you will need to apply for  a post-graduation work permit, which you may obtain if you meet all the eligibility requirements and have graduated from an approved program. IRCC and other government departments regularly revise their policies so please check the IRCC website for the most up to date information.
