Hurricanes hosting Last Chance Christmas Craft Fair

The Holland Hurricanes will transform the Holland College Centre for Community Engagement in Charlottetown this weekend for the first annual, Last Chance Christmas Craft Fair.

The event will be open to the public on Friday, December 13 from 4-8pm, and again on Saturday, December 14 from 10am-4pm.

With 58 vendors and services, guests can enjoy a shopping experience featuring hand-made crafts, knits, foods, and much more. The fair is bound to be a fun event filled with laughs, music, and even a delicious set up from the Culinary Institute of Canada!

Director of Athletics and Recreation for the Holland Hurricanes, Albert Roche, looks forward to having new guests visit the Centre for Community Engagement.

“We’re excited to host this new event for the first time in our facility as we prepare to welcome exhibitors and guests.  This is a wonderful opportunity for community outreach, student-athlete involvement and fundraising for the food banks of PEI and our programming.”

Admission is $2.00 at the door with a non-perishable donation to the food bank, or $3.00 without a donation. The additional $1.00 will be used towards food bank necessities.

The event is also being held as a fundraiser to support the Hurricanes women’s hockey team during the 2019-20 season.
