LinkedIn Learning is an award-winning educational platform that helps you discover and develop business, technology-related, and creative skills through expert-led course videos. You have access to a digital library of over 16,000 personalized, “bite-sized” video-based courses 24/7 so you can refine or develop your professional skills, learn new software, and explore other areas related to your career or interests. Up to 70 new courses are added weekly.
LinkedIn Learning gives you access to three libraries:

To log into LinkedIn Learning through Holland College for the first time:
Click on the ‘Login to your account’ button above (or open the following link in your browser https://lnkd.in/ggFQNhQ to activate your LinkedIn Learning account.
When prompted, enter your Holland College student or staff credentials to login.
You will be prompted to choose between two options: to connect your personal LinkedIn account (if you have one) or continue without connecting your LinkedIn.com account to create a LinkedIn Learning account.
If you do not have a LinkedIn account, click 'Continue without LinkedIn'.
If you have a LinkedIn account and wish to connect it, click 'Connect my LinkedIn Account' and you will be promoted to use your LinkedIn.com login to connect the two accounts.
If you do not have a LinkedIn account but wish to create one, click 'Connect my LinkedIn Account' and follow the prompts on the screen to create your LinkedIn account.
On the Welcome to LinkedIn Learning page, select Sounds good.
Get started by choosing the course category you are most interested in.
Select at least one skill you want to learn. As you select skill categories, similar skills will populate that you may also be interested in. You will be able to add additional skills in the settings section.
Set a weekly learning goal if you want reminders to continue learning each week or skip to the prompt – you can set a weekly goal later if you wish.
If you did connect your LinkedIn profile, you will be able to log into LinkedIn Learning in multiple ways: Through your LinkedIn.com account or using the above link.
Do not forget to download the LinkedIn Learning mobile app after you have activated your account so you can take your learning anywhere you go.

Yes and no. LinkedIn bought Lynda.com in 2015 and has continued to use all the same content and content creation methods. However, LinkedIn Learning is a new and improved platform, so you will notice new features such as automated, personalized content recommendations, Q&A on courses, notebook and other new bells and whistles. They have also significantly increased the number and variety of courses offered with the new platform.
Holland College will see your photo, name, email address, title, and company name. This data connection will be used to create your profile in LinkedIn Learning so you can easily access LinkedIn Learning from your LinkedIn account. You can take your learning history with you regardless of where you go after Holland College. LinkedIn will never share any other personally identifiable activity from your personal LinkedIn account with Holland College.
Yes, Holland College’s LinkedIn Learning admin can see which courses you have completed on LinkedIn Learning. This is so Holland College can track how students and staff are using the tool, what courses are generating interest and how best to continue promoting the resource.
No, Holland College will not be able to see your browsing or job search activity on LinkedIn Learning.
You can’t choose which data to share from your LinkedIn profile, but rest assured that no human will ever see individual-level data.
No, your network will not see your LinkedIn Learning activity. If you wish, you can choose to share the courses you’ve taken on LinkedIn, just like any other social network. Learn freely knowing that your learning activity will never be shared publicly unless you choose to do so.
Yes. In the app/play store on your device, find the ‘LinkedIn Learning’ app for download. Once downloaded, you will login with your same desktop credentials and your learning will automatically go with you wherever you go. Using the mobile option is a bit different and has the option to turn the courses to "audio only" via a toggle within each course.
To change the language, click on the language icon in the top right corner of the LinkedIn Learning Homepage. Select your language from the drop-down menu. LinkedIn Learning offers content in Simplified Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish. Some of the courses and features might not be available in all languages.
There are a few ways to see the new courses that are added. First, you can subscribe to the LinkedIn Learning blog here https://www.linkedin.com/business/learning/blog and every Monday an article will be sent to you that lists the new course titles added that week. Second, your homepage content recommendations will show you the newest and most popular courses.
