Health Clinics

The Prince of Wales Campus Health Clinic is open for students from any Holland College location, and a Nurse Practitioner is available by appointment on the Summerside Waterfront Campus on Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. starting on November 2, 2023.

The nurse practitioners are available to see students by appointment for non-emergency medical services such as sexual health counselling and screening, pregnancy testing and support, mental health management, referrals, prescriptions, and assessment of injuries. Students from any Holland College location are welcome to book an appointment.

The Holland College Health Clinic is happy to say we are now booking for our fall flu and booster Covid vaccines. You can make an appointment by emailing npclinic@hollandcollege.com, call us at 902-566-9392, or drop by the clinic.

Please bring your health card if you have one and your COVID-19 vaccine record with the dates of your vaccines. The Covid booster can be given 6 months after a previous covid vaccine, or 6 months after having Covid.

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To treat the health clinic staff and other patients with courtesy and respect.
  • To turn the volume off on cell phones in the clinic and not take calls during their appointment.
  • To arrive on time and/or cancel appointments as necessary.
  • To arrive at their appointment prepared with their student ID card, health card (if applicable), and medication list.
  • To be engaged and involved in developing their treatment plan and willing to follow it.
