Please read carefully the agreement below and ensure that you are able and willing to meet all of the expectations for your participation before registering.
Please note that failure to pick up the kit without appropriate notification on more than 2 occasions, may result in removal of the participant from the program.
Assumptions for participation in the program:
- Yes, I will have access to a clean kitchen equipped with basic pots, a strainer andbasic cooking utensils.
- Yes, I understand that I will need to have salt, pepper and cooking oil on hand as they are not provided in the kits.
- Yes, I will wash and return the plastic containers as instructed.
- Yes, I will exercise good kitchen sanitation skills which include but are not limited to handwashing while preparing food, washing all produce before cutting or cooking, ensuring clean utensils, work surfaces, etc. at all times.
- Yes, I will take my meal kits directly home upon receiving it and the product will be immediately refrigerated at a safe temperature until I am able to cook the meal.
- Yes, I pledge to prepare the recipes as directed to the best of my ability and when I am unable to do so, I will ensure that the meal kit is NOT WASTED or left to spoil. When I am unable to do so, I will contact the coordinator to make alternate arrangements for the meal kit.
- Yes, I agree to use the gift cards provided with the kits for the sole purpose of purchasing the necessary ingredients that go with that meal kit.
- Yes, I understand the importance of my feedback to inform future changes and to improve the program. Therefore, I agree to complete the survey(s) as I am notified by the program coordinator.
