Learn to Make Data-Driven Decisions


As a Data Analyst, you will analyze information and data to prepare thoughtful insights and recommendations.  

Learn how to use historical and current data to predict future outcomes. You’ll learn to collect, sort, and analyze data efficiently and use predictive analytic techniques like statistical modelling and forecasting to prepare insights, predict problems, and improve outcomes. 

You'll learn prescriptive analytics tools to apply logic and mathematical principles to data. You'll study optimization and simulation techniques and prepare recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Gain Experience & Industry Certifications


You’ll explore advanced concepts in data analytics to learn how natural language processing, deep learning, and artificial intelligence can be integrated into research and reporting. You’ll also complete IBM Skills Academy certifications, ensuring you have the latest industry-standard processes and techniques to give you a competitive edge in the job market.  

At the end of the year, you will complete a capstone project, which gives you the opportunity to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the skills you have developed. In addition, you’ll have access to the college’s Business Analytics Centre for use with industry-based clients.

Graduates of this program will possess the knowledge, skills, and aptitude to apply fundamental principles of data analytics, aligning data with business decision-making processes.

  • Preference will be given to applicants who have a post-secondary background in computer science (such as CIS or CNET), information systems, statistics and/or mathematics
