During this two-year program, you will learn the skills required to become a well-rounded bioscience technologist able to seek employment in a variety of academic, research, industrial, or production laboratory facilities. Textbooks, lab notebooks, lab coats, lab glasses, and other supplies (such as a scientific calculator and a laptop) will be reviewed during Orientation in September.
Our first-year class size is a maximum of 24 students per year. The program is intense: four full semesters (15 weeks each), culminating with a six-week OJT intersession (May/June of second year).
We have an exceptionally high employment rate: over 90% of our graduates are employed in the field by one year after graduation. We also offer a Post-Grad Certificate and a joint Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology degree with UPEI.
