Job Description

• Help develop, plan, and coordinate Triathlon PEI events.
• Assemble supplies and sports equipment
• Attend the needs of various athletes at multiple ability levels and age groups
• Provide skills, fitness, and recreation information in accordance with the LTAD Model for triathlon
• Monitor recreational, sports, or fitness activities to ensure safety measures are followed.
• Provide emergency or first aid assistance when required, if trained
• Assist with enforcing safety rules and regulations
• Assist with the coordination of local area triathlons and major events (TriLobster in Summerside)
• Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records, and prepare reports
• May train and supervise youth leaders
• Promote and market programs and events, and represent the organization in the community
• Conduct any administrative work if required
• A driver's licence is required - Work hours will be flexible and will require some evenings and weekends

Qualifications

Desired candidates should:

• Should have their own vehicle as travel throughout areas of the province will be required
• First Aid certificate, Certified lifeguard/swimming instructor
• Computer skills
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks
• Good communication and organizational skills
