Job Description

If you have formal training and hands-on experience in building maintenance, repairs, or renovations, we want to hear from you! In this role, you’ll put your hands-on skills and technical training to work maintaining, repairing, and improving the buildings, equipment, and grounds across our campus. Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

• Formal training and proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or renovation
• A commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• A team-oriented attitude and pride in keeping university facilities in top shape
• Diploma or Certificate or Journeyman/License in Electromechanical Technology, Building Instrumentation Controls, Building Systems Engineering, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) or Technology from a recognized institution
• Preference will be given to a Red Seal certification in the above-mentioned fields
• Preference will be given to those with some experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment.
• Preference will be given to those with an education/healthcare setting experience
• Computer software experience
• Valid driver’s license, a Criminal Record Check and may be required to obtain a Federal Government security clearance
