Frontier Power Systems builds wind turbines and microgrid components in their shop in Georgetown, PE. We are currently assembling 8 wind turbines for shipment next spring. We have part-time work, for at least several months, for 1-2 students with an interest and skills in electrical and electronic system to assist us in the assembly of control panels. Hours are flexible following a training period. Work is in Georgetown, 50 km from Charlottetown. It would be good experience reading drawings and terminating the associated cabling in control panels. Pay will be reasonable, depending on the skill level of applicant. The assembly would be supervised but we would expect the students could move forward with the wiring with declining supervision.
