Job Description

The WorkSource Alliance Campus Ambassador serves as the official campus representative for WSA. Ambassadors increase awareness, drive student engagement and referrals, promote programs and events, gather insights, and strengthen WSA’s presence within university and college ecosystems. Each ambassador will be assigned to a specific campus and will operate as an extension of the WSA Operations and Programs.

Responsibilities:

Campus Brand Visibility and Awareness

  • Promote WorkSource Alliance programs, workshops, and events on campus.
  • Share WSA opportunities through: Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, campus groups), Faculty networks and student societies
  • Distribute digital and physical marketing materials Table at student events, career fairs, and orientation weeks
Student Recruitment & Registration
  • Drive student sign-ups to the WSA platform.
  • Educate peers on: How WSA supports career development and job placements
  • Track and report: Number of students referred Number of successful registrations
Event Promotion and Activation
  • Promote WSA flagship events
  • Mobilize student attendance for: Campus-specific workshops
  • Employer events - Support on-the-ground logistics when events occur on their campus


Campus Intelligence and Feedback Loop

  • Act as campus insight officers.
  • Provide updates on: Student employment concern, Emerging trends (AI, tech skills, job market shifts), Gaps in service
  • Identify relevant campus clubs, departments, or student leaders for partnerships.
  • Flag opportunities for collaboration with: Career Services Faculty Members Student Unions Cultural and affinity groups

Representation and Professional Conduct

  • Serve as a professional representative of the WorkSource Alliance on campus.
  • Maintain consistent communication with WSA staff.
  • Attend ambassador meetings.
  • Uphold WSA values of inclusivity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Reporting - Bi-Weekly updates via Google Form and virtual meetings.
  • Final report summarizing outreach, feedback, and suggestions.
  • Support Provided: Flyers and posters (digital and printed); FAQ sheet and talking points
  • Dedicated campaign coordinator for support
