Part-time employment

Working part time while you're attending college can not only provide you with income, it can be a great way to build up your résumé if you are entering the workforce for the first time. You will learn valuable soft-skills such as time management, and begin developing your network.

We can help you prepare your résumé, search for part-time employment, and get ready for your job interview.

Think carefully about how much time you can realistically dedicate to a job given your academic and personal obligations. If you are an international student, make sure that your employment is in accordance with study and work permit regulations.

Looking for Job Opportunities

You will find a link to employment opportunities on the Holland College Alumni and Student Jobs page, which links to WorkPEI. WorkPEI is a dedicated resource for job seekers on Prince Edward Island that offers a job board, a searchable database of job seekers, labour market information, and more. Create a WorkPEI profile so that employers can check out your skills.
