Are you planning to begin your studies at the college this fall? You still have time to apply for Entrance Awards that can help support the cost of your education.
These awards are mainly available to students entering their first year of study, although some are open to students entering their second year. Award values range from $300 to $8,000, depending on the specific award and its criteria.
Each year, hundreds of students receive financial support through scholarships, bursaries and awards offered at the College, with more than $600,000 distributed annually.
All Holland College applicants and current students are eligible to apply for scholarships, bursaries and awards. To apply for Entrance Awards, you must first have an active application to a Holland College program.
Applications for Entrance Awards for students beginning their studies in September 2026 opened on Jan. 23 and will close on March 31, 2026.
If you are selected to receive an award, you will be notified by email in May, and the funds will be automatically applied to your student accounts in September.
Create your application using our College awards portal at hollandcollege.academicworks.ca
The portal is hosted through Blackbaud, and you will be asked to create a Blackbaud ID to access the application. Use your personal email address to create your account.
After signing in, complete the general awards application, which includes personal, financial and background information. Based on the information provided, our system will automatically match you with awards you may be eligible for.
Some awards may require additional materials, such as an essay or transcript. Any required documents must be submitted as PDF files.
