SOC | Hurricanes split final regular season home matches

The women jumped out to a 2-0 lead at the 34′, before the Rams stormed back with three unanswered goals to claim their ACAA-best seventh win of the season, and their sixth consecutive victory.
The Hurricanes men tallied three goals in the first half, and five more in the second half, as they moved their record to a perfect 10-0-0 (wins-losses-ties) with an 8-1 victory.
WSOC | Hurricanes 2, Rams 3 – FT
In the 14′ Nicole Fergusson opened the scoring for the Hurricanes. In the 34′ Sabrina Molnar added another to extend the Hurricanes lead 2-0 at the half. In the second half, the Rams netted three unanswered tallies in the 65′, 85′ and 90′ to edge the Hurricanes (3-5-2). Sian Rankin and Shanice Maxwell (2) were the goal scorers for the Rams (7-1-2).
MSOC | Hurricanes 8, Rams 1 – FT
Ibra Sanoh (22′, 39′, 60′, 62′, 77′) scored five goals and Tjeerd Schep (21′, 48′, 56′) added three markers as the Hurricanes posted a season-high eight goals in the victory. The Rams’ (1-9-0) lone tally came in the 41′ on a goal from Al Loureiro.
The Hurricanes will travel through New Brunswick next weekend, making stops at STU Saturday, and UNBSJ Sunday.
The women will play the Tommies (5-3-2) at 1:00 PM Saturday, and will wrap up their weekend with a 1:00 PM start against the Seawolves (0-6-4) Sunday.
The men will face off with the Tommies (1-7-2) at 5:00 PM Saturday, and will take on the Seawolves (2-6-2) at 3:00 PM Sunday.
