The Cracked Device Company Monaco Grand Prix was Corbin MacAulay’s race from start to finish.

After taking his second consecutive pole with a time of 1:11.808 seconds, MacAulay essentially went untouched from the opening lap in his Hurricanes eMotorsports Honda to claim a convincing win on the prestigious streets of Monte Carlo.

Excellent pit-strategy and a mistake-free race made MacAulay untouchable as many others in the field fell behind his pace due to extra pit stops to replace wings after suffering damage on the narrow street-circuit.  The race featured no safety cars over the 39 laps, but did include three virtual safety cars.

MacAulay finished 32.698 seconds clear of second-place Ryan Gibson in his I-B-PRO-FUN Motorsport Toyota, while Mark Cox picked up his first podium of the season with a third-place finish in his MCRaceLab Honda, the final car to finish on the lead lap.

The victory, plus the bonus point for having the fastest lap, moves MacAulay up to third in the driver standings; meanwhile, Zach Sullivan’s seventh-place finish gives the North Border Racing driver 50 points to extend his lead at the top to three points over the Ares Racing Ferrari of Darcy Ford, who finished eighth.

Mike Marini grabbed fourth place in his True North Racin’ Renault, while Alpha Flow put both its cars in the points for the third straight week, with Daniel Cudmore finishing fifth and Michael Dimitroff coming home in ninth.

Cody Cudmore put his Silver Hornet Mercedes up into sixth, while Jason Butler grabbed the final points-paying position in his 519 E-Racing Bugatti as he finished 10th.

North Border Racing continues to lead the constructor standings with 65 points, while Alpha Flow jumped up into second, 17 back of North Border.

Next up, the drivers will head just over two hours west to Le Castellet for the Lone Oak Brewing Co. French Grand Prix next Thursday, Sept. 24. The pre-race show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, with qualifying starting 10 minutes later, followed by the race itself.
