Assessment Services Clerk

Continuing Part-Time Position Commencing ASAP (18.75 hrs/wk)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Program Manager of Adult and Community Education, the successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Communicate with students, staff, clients, and the public by phone, in person, or through the mail.
  • Coordinate and administer testing services, including scheduling test dates, registering test takers, and preparing testing sessions.
  • Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of all test materials, platforms, and results at all stages of the testing process.
  • Order, receive, track, and securely store testing materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Communicate with applicants regarding testing schedules, requirements, and payment information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, test day staff, and external institutions to support test delivery and reporting.
  • Set up and administer tests in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Score tests and prepare completed materials for submission to the appropriate institutions or organizations.
  • Enter test scores and related information into secure databases and systems.
  • Prepare reports related to testing activity, results, and administration.
  • Process payments, reconcile testing revenues, and maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed ISO records/documentation.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in business or office administration coupled with recent related work experience in a customer service environment. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and a variety of software technology.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in daily work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • Ability to work accurately with figures, financial information, and detailed reports.
