Hurricanes to Host CCAA Cross-Country Nationals

The Holland Hurricanes will host 326 athletes and team personnel from across Canada for the CCAA National Cross Country Running Championships this weekend. The athletes will take on the challenging terrain of the Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park. The race begins and ends in a stadium, featuring a double-wide path that allows for smooth starts and dramatic finishes with ample space for spectators and team support. 115 Men and 116 women from 28 institutions across 4 CCAA conferences will compete to secure a national title. This will be the first time the CCAA cross-country championship has been hosted in Prince Edward Island.

11:30am — Race Welcome 
12:30pm — Women’s Race 6KM 
1:30pm — Men’s Race 8KM 
2:50pm  Championship Group Photo 
3:00 pm Awards & Closing Ceremony
