Job Description
- Remove, replace, or adjust the following with some supervision: brakes (air and hydraulics), fifth wheel, minor electrical repairs, cab components and accessories, minor trailer maintenance such as doors, wheel seals, etc.
- Perform all aspects of preventive maintenance on vehicles as trained. • Maintain a tidy work area appearance and adhere to best safety practices.
- Use hand tools perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, testing batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery.
- Adjust and replace brakes, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Returning to or beginning a post-secondary education program in fall of 2024.
- Working knowledge in the use of hand tools.
- Valid driver's class 5 driver’s license.
- Basic computer knowledge.
