Description
Federal and provincial governments across Canada are committed to supporting the agriculture industry in optimizing its energy use. There is a growing demand for energy auditors who possess a working understanding of energy use in agriculture. This training program is designed to equip energy auditors with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to effectively assess and improve energy efficiency on farms. Participants will learn to identify energy conservation measures, conduct basic energy assessments, and provide actionable recommendations to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance farm resilience. The program supports Canada's net-zero future and addresses the unique energy challenges in agriculture.

In person Dates, June 23-24 Between June 25 - August 19th, students will be doing asynchronous work. Off-site dates are August 19-20 and location to be determined.
