The college will review, on an individual basis, requests from current students, faculty and staff to be exempted from the vaccination requirement on the basis of a confirmed medical condition that prevents them from getting COVID-19 vaccinations. In such circumstances, supporting documentation from a physician, nurse practitioner, or psychologist must accompany the person’s request.
Exemptions to the vaccination mandate may also be granted, on an individual basis, to a person who establishes a genuine and sincere religious or cultural belief or on the basis of a protected ground of discrimination under the PEI Human Rights Act that precludes them from obtaining a COVID-19 vaccination. To apply for an exemption, complete this form and submit it to the Registrar's Office if you are a student, or the Human Resources if you are a member of faculty or staff.
If you obtain an exemption, you will be expected to wear a mask at all times while on Holland College property, and to submit to COVID-19 testing every seven days at a designated Holland College COVID-19testing clinic.COVID-19 testing clinics will be held in Charlottetown and Summerside.
