Each program has admission requirements. When you apply for a program, you need to show that you meet all the requirements. You can do this with supporting documents such as certificates and transcripts.
Supporting documents demonstrate that you are qualified to study in your program of choice and can strengthen your application for a program if it is in high demand.
Upload your supporting documents directly to your Holland College Dashboard as PDFs.
Submit as many of the documents listed in the admission requirements when you start your application. If you don't have a document you can still submit the application, but you will not be a accepted into the program until we have all the documentation required.
Examples of supporting documents are:
HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT
All applicants, even post-secondary graduates, need to upload their official high school transcript.
Please upload your high school transcripts directly to your Dashboard. You can upload an unofficial transcript with your application. If we need your official transcript it will be noted on your Dashboard.
If you attended a post-secondary institution after high school, we need both your high school transcript and your post-secondary transcript. Entry into many of our programs is competitive and your post-secondary marks can strengthen your application.
If you did not graduate from high school and have a GED, send us a copy.
Even if you graduated a while ago, we still need your high school transcript. If you cannot obtain it, let us know and we can discuss your options.
If you studied at college or university, you must submit your post-secondary transcript AND your high-school transcript. This may strengthen your application.
Your résumé should include details of your work and volunteer experience, any prizes or awards that you have won, any sports you have played and your hobbies. Any information related to the program you are applying to is important to include.
All Holland College programs are delivered in English. If English is not your first language, you will need to to demonstrate your proficiency in English, regardless of your place of birth or citizenship status. Find out about language requirements.
Some programs require certificates, criminal record checks, or driver’s licenses. Check the admission requirements for your program to find out if you need to supply additional documents. Send photocopies or scan the documents, do not send us the originals.
Application fees are not refundable.
Please create your account and submit your application using your Holland College Dashboard. This is where you will access your personal information and your application updates.
Check your Holland College Dashboard often to make sure that we have received all the supporting documents. You can upload items at any time.
AFTER YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR APPLICATION
You must upload all the supporting documents listed in the program's Admission Requirements to your Holland College Dashboard for your application to be reviewed.
If your documents are not acceptable, your Holland College Dashboard will indicate that your application cannot be processed.
If you are accepted into a program you will receive an email. You can then access your acceptance letter on your Holland College Dashboard.
At that time, you must pay a tuition deposit using the Holland College Dashboard.
PLEASE NOTE: Holland College does not defer applications or acceptances from one intake to another.
IF YOU ARE NOT ACCEPTED RIGHT AWAY
Don’t worry! We continue to accept students until the program start date if seats are available. You will be placed on a waiting list.
Check your Holland College Dashboard to ensure that we have all your supporting documents.
The most qualified candidates will be placed at the top of the waiting list, so if a document is missing, please send it as soon as possible.
Seats in a program will open if an accepted student does not pay their tuition deposit. At that time, we offer the seat to the person at the top of the waiting list. This process continues until the program start date.
