In this program you’ll learn the techniques, procedures, and documentation requirements you need as an aircraft turbine technician. You can be sure you’ll have the most up to date skills, because we developed this program in consultation with PEI’s aerospace industry.
Over half the program is hands-on, practical training carried out on a variety of turbine engines including the Pratt and Whitney 100 series turbine engine used on the deHavilland Dash 8 aircraft, the Pratt and Whitney PT6 engine, and the Rolls Royce 250 engine. You will learn how to disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble and test turbine engines.
