Advanced Care Paramedicine students graduate

Charlottetown, PE – Twenty-four of Holland College’s Advanced Care Paramedicine students celebrated their graduation recently during a ceremony at the Tourism and Culinary Centre.
Guest speaker was the Honourable Doug Currie, provincial minister of Health and Wellness. Michael Nathan Barkhouse was the student speaker.
The Advanced Care Paramedicine program prepares primary care paramedics with an advanced scope of practice to meet the needs of the health care system throughout Canada. Primary Care Paramedics enrolled in the distributed learning program complete most of their ACP studies in a distance delivery format.
