BBALL | Hurricanes on the road this weekend versus Rams and Chargers

The Holland Hurricanes hit the road for three games this weekend with the men visiting the Dal AC Rams on Saturday at 2:30pm in Truro, NS before both the women and men visit the Crandall Chargers in Moncton, NB on Sunday at 2 and 4pm (w/m).
The men’s ‘Canes enter the weekend at 6-1 and in third place in the ACAA standings while the Rams are 0-9. The Chargers are in a tie for first in the conference at 8-1 this season.
The Hurricanes defeated Dal AC on November 19 in Charlottetown, 123-62, while the Chargers defeated Holland College on November 26, 108-103 in Moncton in the men’s ‘Canes only meetings with this weekends opponents this season.
The CCAA has both the Hurricanes (6) and Chargers (14) positioned in this weeks men’s basketball national rankings.
The women’s Hurricanes enter the weekend at 4-2 this season and in third place in the ACAA standings while Crandall has struggled to a 0-8 record. The Hurricanes won the only meeting between the two teams this season on November 26 by a score of 107-82.
The CCAA has three ACAA teams nationally ranked this week with the Mount Allison Mounties in fifth, the MSVU Mystics in ninth and the Hurricanes at 11.

The Hurricanes will play their next home games on Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21 at the Holland College Centre for Community Engagement for a weekend collection of games versus the UKC Blue Devils.
