Tyler James Nicholson Memorial Award for Music Performance
Description: On May 2, 2013, Tyler (known by many as “Dean”) was killed in a tragic car accident in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 27. He was on his way home from a concert where he was doing what he loved – playing music.
From the early years, Tyler was a devoted music fan who enjoyed going to concerts where he could always be found in the front row. His proudest achievement was co-founding his band, The Dean Project.
