We are hiring election workers to help staff polling stations for the Three Rivers municipal election, including work locations in Montague, Lower Montague, Gaspereaux, Cardigan, Georgetown, and Poole’s Corner.
The work involves engaging with the public to ensure a safe, secure, and fair voting process during the upcoming municipal elections.
Staffing is needed for the following shifts:
-October 24 (Advance Poll, Montague only)
-October 26 (Advance Poll, Montague only)
-October 30 (Advance Poll, Montague only)
-November 2 (Election Day, various locations across Three Rivers)
Successful candidates must be able to attend one paid 3-hour training session, offered between 20-23 October for those working Advance Polls and 27-29 October for those working Election Day.
Pay is $20.30 per hour for the first 8 hours per shift, +50% for any additional hours.
