This course is intended to help you prepare for the NS/I Transport Canada exam. The NS/I exam is a three-hour exam and consists of five to seven essay-style and/or sketch and describe questions worth 10-20 marks each. The exam questions will cover a broad range of knowledge of ship’s electronic equipment. This is a Master Mariner’s exam and there is a higher level of expectation that you should show depth of knowledge in your answers; therefore, your answers should be detailed, well-written and concise, and should include diagrams wherever possible. We recommend that you spend a minimum of four weeks preparing for this exam.
