McMillan Centre for Community Engagement
Named for former Holland College President, Brian MacMillian, The 'MCCE' is home of the Holland College Hurricanes, our varsity sports teams.
The facility includes a 9,400 sq foot gymnasium with washrooms, change rooms & day use lockers, as well as a fitness centre, perimeter walking/running track, cardio/assessment centre.
Memberships are available for students, faculty & staff, and the community. Holland College alumni recieve special rates!

- Monday – Friday: 6:30 AM to 9 PM
- Saturday/Sunday: 8 AM to 6 PM

Facility Overview & Programs
GYMNASIUM
Multi-use 9,400 square foot gym surrounded by a full perimeter indoor-walking/running track.
The gymnasium floor is marked for:
- 1 full court basketball or 2 cross-court basketball
- 1 full court volleyball or 2 cross-court volleyball
- 3 badminton courts
SEATING
- bleacher gym floor seating capacity: 660 people
- additional space for seating (300) on the gym floor
- full perimeter walking/running track overlooking gym provides additional spectator viewing for 400 people, plus additional standing space
GYM-RELATED SPACES
- fitness centre, which includes an assisted pull-up/dip machine, lat pulldown, cable row, lying leg curl, knee extension, pec dec, cable cross over, medicine balls and dumbbells from 5-50 lbs
- indoor walking/running track
- fitness studio
- first aid/physiotherapy room
- 4 team locker rooms complete with a change area, lockers, showers and washrooms
- Officials locker room, complete with a change area, lockers, shower and washroom
- male/female change rooms with lockers, shower and washroom
- Cardio and assessment area, which includes spin bikes, treadmills, erg rowers, ellipticals, 4front & stationary bikes
