The Atlantic Tactical Training and Innovation Centre (ATTIC)


The ATTIC features immersive scenario rooms and a virtual reality range, along with augmented and virtual reality training systems, giving cadets and in-service personnel the opportunity to experience realistic, high-pressure situations that mirror the challenges faced in the field.

Using advanced technology, our instructors gather data to assess the efficacy of training and provide instant student feedback on performance - ensuring training is both practical and responsive to real-world demands. We can share this data with our industry partners in real-time to enhance our training collaboration and ensure we meet the needs of every agency we support.

APA Training Campus


The Atlantic Police Academy Training Campus leverages a partnership between Holland College’s Atlantic Police Academy and Slemon Park Corporation.

A one-of-a-kind training campus, it combines skill-based competencies, academically-sound curriculum, and state-of-the-art physical infrastructure.

All of the programs and training courses are delivered by experienced staff who have worked closely with a variety of public safety agencies to develop, design and deliver the most up-to-date training to meet or exceed industry standards.

In addition to offering recruit training for police, fire, corrections, sheriffs and conservation officers, the APA, with its training experience, has amassed an impressive range of specialized in-service training.
