XC | Hurricanes compete at ACAA meet in New Brunswick

On the women’s side, Hurricanes runner Haley Shea was the top performer for Holland College finishing fourth with a time of 27:32 on the six kilometer course. Teammates Lisa Maria Kerbler finished 10th (29:55), Christena Visser finished 18th (32:04) and Sonja Parkman rounded out the Canes squad with a 19th place finish (32:24). The team scored a fourth place finish behind MTA (1st), MSVU (2nd) and Dal Ac (3rd).
The men’s team was led by canes runner Scott Langille completing the eight kilometer course in a time of 30:55 to finish third and help secure a third place team finish behind MTA (1st) and Dal AC (2nd). Other Hurricanes team members Sean Sullivan finishing 10th (35:23), TJ Markland 14th (37:05), and Raymond Umuwe rounded out the team’s finish placing 16th (38:24).
Holland Hurricane will compete again as they travel to the Université de Sainte-Anne to take part in the second meet of the season on Saturday September 30, 2017.
