Student Awards


Holland College applicants and students are eligible to apply for scholarships, bursaries and awards. Through the generosity of donors, hundreds of students benefit annually from awards that collectively exceed $500,000. 

The application process for entrance awards for students starting in September 2020 and January 2021 will begin in February 2020. You will need to have an active Holland College application (which means that you will have a WebAdvisor username and password) to apply for awards. When the application process begins,  you will be able to upload your transcript, biography, and any other required documents. In the meantime,  start working on your biography and gathering up your documents. You will need to submit them as PDFs.

Deadline

The deadline for entrance awards for incoming students is March 31.

The deadline for award applications will be extended.  In the meantime, keep working on your application and submit it when complete. Email awards@hollandcollege.com if you need more information.

To apply for awards you must fill out a general application form and upload the following documents:

Based on your general application and Holland College student data, you will automatically be matched to all the awards you meet the criteria for, and your application will be submitted for them.
 
You will also receive recommendations for additional award opportunities that may require more information from you. Look through these recommendations and apply for any for which you are eligible.

Provincial Awards for PEI Residents


Residents of Prince Edward Island who are registered in full-time programs at Holland College for at least 24 continuous weeks and who are not receiving financial support from any third party agency or government department may be eligible for up to $3,200 in grants from the P.E.I. government.

External Student Awards


In addition to Holland College scholarships, bursaries and awards, there are many external awards available to students. These awards are managed entirely by the sponsoring organization, and the college is not responsible for the information provided, application collection, or distribution of funds.
