Introduction to the National Building Code of Canada

Course Section: CEENG-NBCCRCI

Description

In the spring of 2017, the provincial government passed a new Building Codes Act, the first step in province-wide adoption of the National Building Code of Canada.  To ease this transition, the Government of Prince Edward Island, Holland College and the Construction Association of PEI have partnered to provide a voluntary certification program in the form of a building code training course.  Through in person sessions at the Prince of Wales (Charlottetown) campus this course will cover material of Part 9: Housing and Small Buildings. Course cost is $950 and includes a copy of the 2015 National Building Code.
