This one-year program prepares you for an entry-level management position or to operate your own small business. You will take courses such as human resource management, entrepreneurship, and marketing research. The program teaches you business functions and how they work together, and gives you a solid foundation in communications. The program is offered on a part-time or full-time basis, and the modules can be designed to make sure you get the skills that best meet your needs and schedule. You will get plenty of real-world experience and hands-on projects, and you’ll get to meet and hear from industry representatives.

- Grade 12 or equivalent with credits at or above the general level
- Resumé, including work and volunteer experience with applicable dates, membership in groups, associations or athletics, awards and distinctions, and any other information about yourself relevant to the program.
Graduates can confidently enter into a business climate and function at a basic level. They will have acquired an introductory level of knowledge and skills in all key and functional small business areas that are scalable across most organizations.
