Today’s employers recognize the need for effective occupational health and safety plans. This is out of respect for their valued workforce, and as a result of an increasing need to prove due diligence in preventing injury and diseases caused in the workplace.
This program combines specialized health and safety skills with business management skills to make you a leader in the area of health and safety.
Candidates for this program must already hold their Certificate in Health, Safety and Environmental Processes (CHSEP) from the University of Fredericton. If you do not have your CHSEP credential, but do meet program entrance requirements in a Holland College business program, you may enrol in individual courses offered through this program.
Please Note: A minimum enrolment of 20 students is required in each course within this program in order for a course to begin as scheduled
- University of Fredericton transcript showing successful completion of the CHSEP credential
- Resumé including work and volunteer experience with applicable dates, membership in groups, associations or athletics, awards and distinctions, and any other information about yourself relevant to the program.
Interested in taking a credit course but don’t want to register for an entire program? Credit courses provide credit toward a diploma or certificate program. Holland College has a variety of options for studying part time during the day, or, in some instances, in the evening or on the weekend.
