Open Academic Studies

If you would like to attend college on either a full-time or part-time basis but don’t know what program you would like to take, Open Academic Studies may be right for you.

Open Academic Studies is not a program. Students may choose from five courses that are transferable to full-time programs at Holland College: Computer Essentials, Psychology I, Psychology II, Leadership & Group Dynamics, and Writing for College; or they can take courses that are part of programs if there are seats available and they meet the admission requirements.

The coordinator for the Office of Academic Advising can help you choose from available courses and create a schedule.
