Program Overview


The Occupational Health and Safety Technology program will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to promote and maintain the health and safety of employees in an organization. You will learn the roles and responsibilities of an occupational health and safety practitioner, including risk management, hazard recognition control and prevention, and safety management systems in the workplace. You will learn about occupational health and safety legislation and organizations, and learn how to apply best practices.

Please note: This program is a combination of online learning and in-class learning. Classes take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. on the Summerside Waterfront Campus.
