Holland College to offer short course in interior design

January 17, 2008. Charlottetown, PE—Well-known Californian and former Islander Jude Barkley will offer Introduction to Interior Design and Decorating as a short course starting February 13 and ending May 7.

Running on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 at the Charlottetown Centre, the course will provide an in-depth study into the practice of interior design featuring key elements and principles of the profession, including an introduction into green design, kitchen and bath design, designing with furniture, window coverings, hard surfaces, space planning, colour theory and textiles, and accessories.

Barkley is the founder of Expressions of You Interior Designs based out of California and most recently, PEI. Jude graduated from the Interior Design Program at LTU California in 1999. In 2007, Jude wrote, directed and hosted her own 30 minute interior design cable TV show. She is a past designer participant in the California Designer Showcase-Design Homes.
