Holland College celebrates first West Prince Campus graduation

Charlottetown, PE - Almost 80 students graduated from full-time and adult and community education programs at Holland College's West Prince Campus in the campus's first ever ceremony held at Ecole Pierre-Chiasson recently.

Graduating Administrative Assistant student Claire Deveau Muir sang the national anthem. Geraldine MacKendrick, a graduating student from the Resident Care Worker program, and Patricia Harper, who was graduating from Adult Education and will be attending Holland College's Bioscience Technology program in the fall, were the student speakers. Karen Murphy, executive director of Kids West and owner/manager of the Alberton Irving station was the guest speaker.

In total, 1,200 full-time students will graduate from Holland College programs in seven graduation ceremonies across the province this year.
