Hurricanes Women's Volleyball: In Tough this Weekend

The women's team know they will be in tough this weekend as they still remain winless in a tough ACAA league and will face a 6-3 STU team on Saturday.

Coach Amanda Hickey-LeBlanc is hoping her team will feed on the energy of those who are playing well "right now we have some players who are playing well. Ashley Howell brought a great offensive game against both MTA and USA. She led the team in both kills and blocks. Kelsey Julian had a great weekend as well, against MTA and USA. She led the team in serving, and also played a very aggressive offensive weekend. Dorothy made some amazing digs over the weekend, during practice this week and I expect to see nothing less than that from her this upcoming weekend. And last but not least, Chantry has trained very hard this week and has stepped back in to the roll as an offside/ setter player. She will once again, just as she did before Christmas, lead her team through great sets and offside attacks."

Women will hit the floor on Saturday at 1:30 PM at STU and then on Sunday at 10 AM at UNBSJ.
