David was an offensive lineman in the CFL from 1999 to 2006, playing for Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary. Since 2006, he has been director of football for Sun Youth Organization, a non-profit organization formed in 1958 to raise funds for athletic activities for Montreal’s inner city disadvantaged children.
He was offensive coordinator for the QMFL vs OVFL Allstar Challenge from 2011 to 2014, and initiated a volunteering program for McGill University football team in the 2012-13 school year. David studied at the University of Kentucky and Vanier College in Montreal.
Young is no stranger to the football community in Prince Edward Island. At Mount Allison University, he led the Mounties as a team co-captain, All-Conference linebacker for three consecutive years, and was selected as Mountie Defensive MVP, MVP Special Teams and 110 Percent Award winner for his consistent play, dedication and leadership on and off the field. He was an assistant coach in Mount Allison’s first ever Vanier Cup appearance in 1984 against the Guelph Gryphons. In the early 2000s, Young became President of the Mount Allison Mounties 5th Quarter Club and worked closely with former Mountie Peter Winters, Athletics and Administration, to help to rebuild the Mountie program and boost financial support. He has been involved with minor football in P.E.I. for decades and has been one of the stalwarts who have helped to keep the sport alive in the province. He started the Wildcat Varsity Football program in Souris and the Bantam Football Program in Montague and Kings County.

Defensive Line and Special Teams
Marc played in the Canadian Football League, and was head coach of the Summerside Varsity Clipper program for 10 years. Marc has worked as an assistant coach with the Hurricanes for last few years.
Linebackers and Defensive Backs
Shawn is a former standout with PRI Tackle football, playing with the Montague Buccaneers. He is the head coach of the Kings County Steelers Football team in the PEI tackle football league. Shawn was an assistant with the Steelers and Souris Wildcats last season, and head coach of the Souris Flag football program.
Steve has been an assistant with the Hurricanes for the last two seasons as offensive and defensive line coach. He played in the US high school and college system. He also is a member of Football PEI Tackle League committee.
Strength and Conditioning
Wyatt has been a certified exercise physiologist since 1998, and since that time, he has worked to improve the strength and conditioning of hundreds of island athletes. Wyatt is the coordinator of the Sport and Leisure program at Holland College and teaches kinesiology.
