Health Care Plan
The Holland College Student Union is pleased to announce the addition of dental coverage to the health care plan effective the 2008-2009 academic year. For further details regarding the Health & Dental Plan, please visit the Holland College Student Union.
Walk In/Evening Clinics
Information on various walk in clinics in the Charlottetown and Summerside areas is available from the Student Services & Athletics Office, Room 108, Charlottetown Centre.
Don't Have a Family Physician?
Students who are without family doctors should contact the Provincial Registry at 368-6130 to place themselves on a waiting list of those wishing to acquire a family physician.

Women's Clinic
Dr. Christine Hoffman, 24 Linden Ave, Charlottetown, offers a part-time Women's Clinic which is primarily for young women who need contraception, paps and/or gynecology advice. No referral is needed. Patients can call and book their own appointments at 367-3285.
PEI Pap Screening Clinic
The PEI Pap Screening Clinic is offered at the Cornwall Medical Centre. Women between the ages of 18 and 69 who have not had a Pap test in the last two years can now call the Pap Screening Clinic at 368-2010 or toll-free 1-866-818-7277 (PAPS) to book a test. Pap tests will be performed by a trained registered nurse under the supervision of Dr. David Stewart.
Men's Clinic
A new Men's Clinic is operating out of the Boardwalk Professional Centre, 20 Water Street Parkway, Charlottetown. This clinic, staffed by two doctors, targets men age 30 and up as well as those who may be without a general practioner or are from out of province. Appointments can be booked by calling 367-8000.
Pain Management Clinic
The Boardwalk Professional Centre, 20 Water Street Parkway, now offers a Pain Management Clinic, which provides comprehensive clinical assessments and treatments for patients suffering from chronic pain. Also offered are pain education, small group counselling, exercise routines, trigger point injections, acupuncture, myofascial electro-stimulation, botox for resistant migraine headaches and simple nerve blocks. Open five days a week, patients will need to be referred by their own physician.
