Bursaries, Scholarships & Awards
The Holland College Foundation, thanks to the generosity of numerous individuals, businesses and organizations, and donors, has over 150 scholarships, awards, and bursaries for Holland College students. All full-time students can apply.
Note: Some scholarships, bursaries and awards have open eligibility, while others are specific to certain programs or demographics. Please read each description carefully.
Student loans are available from provincial government to qualified students attending programs at Holland College. If you require further information of assistance with student loans, contact Student Services or visit the following websites, where you can apply online or download an application:
SkillsPEI is a Division of the Department of Workforce and Advanced Learning, established to manage the delivery of employment and training programming funded by the Canada-Prince Edward Island Labour Market Development Agreements.
To be eligible for Training PEI funding, individuals must meet the following basic criteria:
- be unemployed and legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident);
- have a current claim for Employment Insurance benefits;
- have a Return to Work Action Plan that identifies (a) lack of marketable skills as an employment barrier and (b) the need for new or additional occupational skills in order to find employment.
Other criteria may also apply.
