Bursaries, Scholarships & Awards
The Holland College Foundation, thanks to the generosity of numerous individuals, businesses and organizations, and donors, has over 150 scholarships, awards, and bursaries for Holland College students. All full-time students can apply.
Note: Some scholarships, bursaries and awards have open eligibility, while others are specific to certain programs or demographics. Please read each description carefully.

SkillsPEI is a Division of the Department of Innovation and Advanced Learning. It was established to manage the delivery of training and skills development programming funded by the Canada-Prince Edward Island Labour Market Development Agreement (LMDA) and Labour Market Agreement (LMA).
To be eligible for Skills Development funding, individuals must meet the following basic criteria:
- be unemployed and legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
- have a current claim for Employment Insurance benefits or have a previous EI claim whose benefit period ended in the preceding 36 months or have a previous benefit period that began in the preceding 60 months, during which the individual was paid maternity or parental benefits, after which they left the labour market to care for a newborn or newly adopted child and are now seeking to re-renter the labour market.
- have a Return to Work Action Plan that identifies (a) lack of marketable skills as an employment barrier and (b) the need for new or additional occupational skills in order to find employment.
