Holland College students graduate from programs across the Island

Charlottetown, PE – In total, almost 1,000 students will graduate Holland College programs in a series of graduation ceremonies being held across the province this week.

On Thursday, May 21, the West Prince Campus will hold a graduation event at Westisle High School at 7 p.m. for 85 students from the Resident Care Worker, Administrative Assistant, Business Administration, Electrical Construction, Welding Level 1 programs.

On Friday, May 22, the Summerside Waterfront Campus graduation takes place at the Silver Fox Curling Club. This event is for 135 students in the Automotive Technology, Construction Electrical, Carpentry, Electromechanical Technology, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology, Industrial Electrical, Precision Machinist, Wood Manufacturing Cabinetmaking, and Power Engineering programs.

Two graduations take place at the P.E.I. Convention Centre Sunday, May 24. At 10 a.m. 350 students in the Applied Degree in Culinary Operations, Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, International Hospitality Management, Accounting Technology, Business Administration, Foundations, Golf Club Management, Professional Golf Management, Sport and Leisure Management, Marketing and Advertising Management, Tourism and Travel Management, Medical Support Services, and Human Resource Management programs graduate.

At 3 p.m., 300 students from the Plumbing, Steamfitting /Pipefitting, Welding Fabrication, Music Performance, Performing Arts,  Dance Performance, Practical Nursing, Computer Information Systems  (Prince of Wales Campus, Summerside Waterfront Campus, and distance),Computer Networking Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Fundamental Arts, Graphic Design, Journalism, Photography and Digital Imaging, Video Game Art and Animation,  Energy Systems Engineering Technology, Heritage Retrofit Carpentry, Architectural Technology, Bioscience Technology, Construction Technology and Management, Environmental Applied Science Technology, and Wildlife Conservation Technology  programs will walk across the stage.

The final graduation of the season takes place on Monday, June 22 at 1 p.m. in the Delta Prince Edward Ballroom, when 200 students from the Resident Care Worker programs in Charlottetown and Montague, and the Early Childhood Care and Education, Human Services, Child and Youth Care Worker, Aircraft Gas Turbine Engine Repair and Overhaul Technology, Wind Turbine Technology, and Commercial Diving programs will graduate.
