Animation Boot Camp - (ages 12 to 18) - 4 day camp - $219

Holland College presents this highly practical four-day boot camp to provide you with an introduction to the world of animation.

Animation has become a large part of the entertainment industry. Video games, cartoons on television, and even movies, count on high quality animation to ensure the credibility of their final product.

The Animation Boot Camp starts with an introduction to 2-D animation in some of the different forms displayed today. Participants learn about the process of creating animations through storyboards, character designs, flash animations and basic stop motion using industry computer technology. We will touch on audio/lip syncing, along with frame rates and their relevance to the entertainment industry.

Participants must have basic computer skills. If you're interest in the Animation Boot Camp, be prepared for a busy, hands-on week of animating! By the end of the week, you will have developed your own animation clip to show off your new found animation skills.
