WVBALL | Hurricanes to hit the road for final regular season match

The Holland College Hurricanes women’s volleyball team will be in Truro, NS on Sunday to take on the Dal AC Rams in their final regular season match.
The ‘Canes enter the weekend in second place in the ACAA, which is where they will finish entering the playoffs being held on February 24-26 in Truro, NS.
The ‘Canes currently lead the league in kills per set and assists per set while sitting second in hitting percentage and aces per set.
Individually, the ‘Canes attack is led by Alice Marques and her 2.91 kills per set which is good for third in the conference. Megan LeBlanc is also in the top ten in kills per set with 2.09 which has her sitting seventh.
Marques sits second in hitting percentage at 0.238 while Brittany States is fourth at 0.195.
Gracie Ferguson sits second in assists per set with 7.13 while Dana Trainor is third in digs per set with 4.63.
The Rams enter weekend play with a 3-16 record and sit in a tie for seventh in the conference.
The ‘Canes have taken both matchups with the Rams so far this year picking up a 3-0 win in Truro on January 8 and a 3-0 win in Charlottetown on January 14.
