The Hurricanes women’s volleyball team continues their season with a road game on Sunday afternoon at the Mount Allison University. The Hurricanes and Mounties will begin play at 3 pm.

The Hurricanes are coming off a strong performance against the countries second ranked MSVU Mystics last weekend and are playing well. The Mounties sit at 4-2 and in second place in the ACAA standings.

“I’m hoping all of our hard work pays off this weekend. We have been working on our weaknesses and improving as a team, it would be nice to experience a win for the Hurricanes this weekend”, shared first year player from Cobourg, Ontario, Courtney Pryce.

“It is important that the girls come to the game Sunday driven with a hunger to win. We need to pick up our intensity and get our first win in order to build on team confidence”, shared the teams head coach Lori-Beth Dwyer.

The Hurricanes will return to the CCE on Saturday, November 30th when they host the STU Tommies at 6 pm.
