Women’s basketball on road for games in pre-season tournament

The Hurricanes women’s basketball team hits the road for their first exhibition games of the year, this weekend at the Saint Thomas University for the Ken Gould Invitational tournament. The ‘Canes join the Tommies, Durham College (Ontario) and University of King’s College Blue Devils in the event.

The Hurricanes kick off their tournament with a 1pm game with Durham on Saturday followed by a 6pm game with the UKC Blue Devils. On Sunday they take on the Tommies at 2pm to round out the two day invitational tournament.

The Hurricanes will be in action next weekend as part of the ACAA Tip-Off Tournament hosted in Truro at the Dalhousie Agricultural College.

Their regular season begins on November 2nd when they visit Dal-AC. They will hold their home opener on November 16th versus the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics.
