The Holland Hurricanes women’s hockey team hit the road this weekend when they visit the University of New Brunswick for a pair of games in Fredericton. Saturday’s game begins at 3:30pm with Sunday’s to begin at 10:30am; both games take place at the Aitken Centre.
The Hurricanes hold a narrow two-point lead over UNB in the standings with a record of 8-4-0; UNB is 7-3-0 with two games in-hand.
After dropping the first two meetings this season the Hurricanes bounced back to win the third and fourth. In the most recent set of games on January 20 and 21, each team claimed one victory to tie the season series at 3-3.

The Hurricanes will conclude their regular season with a pair of games on March 2 and 3 versus the Acadia Axewomen in Wolfville, NS.
Sam Higgins leads the league scoring race with 14 points in 11 games this season while Jess Redmond, Katelyn Dunn and Samantha Woodworth all sit inside the top five.
