Hughes also paired with Larry Liang in mixed doubles “A” play to finish in second place for the Hurricanes.  Hughes and Liang went 3-1 with their only loss at the hands of the Blue Devils.

The ‘Canes received seven points towards their team total in both competitions.

In men’s singles “B”, Josh Watkins would finish in third with a 2-2 record as did the ‘Canes in men’s doubles “B” with a team of Liang and Connor Loerick.  The Hurricanes received five points in each of the competitions for their third place finishes.

In men’s doubles “A”, Jonah Wilton and David Cozens teamed up to finish in fourth with a record of 1-3 while Erinn Quinn and Loerick did the same in mixed doubles “B”.  They received three points towards their team total for the fourth place finishes.

Matt Barlow would finish in fifth with a 1-3 record in men’s singles “A” after suffering an injury and was forced to forfeit two matches; he earned two points for the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes did not participate in the women’s singles “B”, women’s doubles “A” or women’s doubles “B” competitions so did not receive any points towards their team total.

The UKC Blue Devils would go on to win the competition (79 points) by a single point over the Mount Allison Mounties.  The Université de Sainte-Anne Dragons would finish in third (39 points) with the ‘Canes and Dal AC Rams tied for fourth with 32 points.
